Rainbow Dance Credentialing TrainingRainbowdance is an evidence informed program for children emotionally and cognitively aged 1.5 to 9 years (inclusive of developmental disabilities, as well as language, hearing, and vision impaired) developed by Dicki Johnson Macy ADTR, LMHC, M.Ed.
Primary goals include increasing: 1) self-esteem, 2)social empathy, and 3) self-regulation.
A multi sensory intervention,Rainbowdance encourages healthy attachment and relationship building, as well as languageacquisition, through the use of music, gesture and sign language, movement rituals, and story.
TWO sixteen (16) hour credentialing training are offered to a limited number of:
1): Clinicians, OT's, PT's, Speech Therapists, Early Interventionists, and other professionals and
2): Daycare Teachers and Parents.
Credentialed trainees receive twelve months of phone and email support as well as two supervisory site visits. Training and support are provided by Dicki Johnson Macy and the staff members of The Boston Children's Foundation.
