Teacher Credentialing Program

The Art and Technique of Isadora Duncan:
Teacher Credentialing Program

We are currently developing a credentialing program for students of "The Art & Technique of Isadora Duncan" who would be interested in furthering her legacy, as a teacher of the work.


Pre requisites for the Certificate Program include the following:

1) A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in professional or life experience
2) Five years experience in Duncan Dance. Class work, trainings, and performances will be considered.
3) Candidates must intern with a credentialed (By BCF) Duncan Dance teacher for one semester (3 months) in classes for children aged 5-18 years (3 classes weekly).

The training will consists of:
1) A five day intensive training for selected professionals and/or
2) A semester long, three credits Duncan pedagogy training.

Candidates will demonstrate technical proficiency and an understanding of the philosophic and archetypal framework of Isadora Duncan's legacy.
