Over the past thirty years we have, without formal membership, become a community. We are a group because of our shared commitment to programs, which foster healthy relationships for our children to each other, to their families, and ancestors, and to the social and physical world.

We are:

"Students of the Art & Technique of Isadora Duncan
"
"Parents and friends of these students
"
"Daycare Teachers and Providers
"
"Toddlers and Preschool children who have experienced Rainbowdance
"
"Lesley University and Naropa University Graduate students who have been our interns
" "Clinicians, Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapists who have participated in our workshops or trainings
"
"International friends, traumatized by natural disaster or war, whom our programs have assisted
"
"Those left behind because of physical or developmental disabilities: Autism, Blindness, Deafness, Mental Retardation."

" The children in each group, individually and as an ensemble, develop a heightened awareness of their bodies as they move gracefully through space; a respectful and trusting sense of their social and physical world; joy in the musical and gestural exchanges/negotiations they make with each other; and pride in their power to join together in communion rather than in competition. They grow to develop their internal voices (intuition) and to trust in what may not be visible (superficial). They understand, with time, that awareness can only be present in stillness. You, and your children, are part of this heritage because you understand the importance of the above-mentioned truths. In our world, which is presently full of chaos, violence, and competitive spirit, it is sometimes difficult to foster the development of true community, whose foundation is based upon honor and respect. I believe that here, with this work, with this music, our children are offered a moment to experience this."
