Dicki Johnson Macy ADTR, LMHC, M.Ed.
Dicki Johnson Macy is a student of Nature's unity. Her long relationship with rhythms and patterns has found different homes in her work as a vocalist, artist, dancer, naturalist, and mother. She works with seers and the seen, and is devoted to the healthy future of children, their communities, and the earth that nourishes them. Children of war, natural disaster, emotional and physical disabilities, the joyful and all of those that have been disregarded, are her teachers. Dicki, a direct lineage holder in the Art and technique of Isadora Duncan, distills her methodology from this tradition; Her work remembers ancient rituals and archetypes, and her dances are simultaneously tribal and divine. She believes in the indomitable human spirit, and in its relationship to resilience and to healing. She is the Creative Director of the Center for Trauma Psychology and the Director of Rainbowdance, which is a program of the Boston Children's Foundation. Her programs for the able and disabled have been presented and implemented nationally as well as in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Valerie Blanc ADTR, LMHC
Valerie Blanc is a mother, wife, dancer, movement therapist and wearer of many hats. Rainbowdance moved into her life in 1999 and she's been singing along ever since. Throughout this journey, she has seen the power of this work reflected in the eyes of many children: from at-risk preschoolers, surviving families of 9/11, survivors of Hurricane Katrina, children with special needs and her own two little ones. Valerie received her movement therapy training at Lesley University's graduate program in expressive therapy. She is currently the Assistant Director of Rainbowdance at the Boston Children's Foundation.
Ruby Price comes to this work from a very unsual background which defines her lens. Her parents, raised Amish became Mennonite Missionaries. Her early home, Northwesten Ontario, was on a Ojibway Indian Reservation where three languages were spoken: Pennsylvania Dutch (German), Ojibway and English. She worked and played in Nature, and gained a respect for both its beauty and brutality. Her father was a bush pilot and her mother, the untrained nurse for the reservation. Later in Lancaster County Pa, she and her family enjoyed the farms, gardens, traditions and containment of the Mennonite culture. After High School ,she sang and danced with "Up With People", an international performing troupe. She also studied International Relations at Northeastern University in Boston and worked in the public affairs and trade departments of the Canadian Consulate. She found Rainbow and Duncan Dance as the mother of twins. Through the lens of a parent, Ruby began her journey down the Rainbowndance path. She brings to our Rainbowdance community a rich and varied appreciation for ritual, attachment, and Nature as well as historic ,geographical, and cultural perspectives on community healing and containment.
